which was conducted by Georgetown
University’s Health Care Financing Initiative.
The study is entitled, “What Role Did
Post-Acute Care Providers Play in Addressing
the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency?
The study illustrates the vital role played by
post-acute providers in responding to the
nation’s health needs during the pandemic.
The study was commissioned by Carol B.
Davis, PhD of Georgetown and conducted by
Lane Koenig, PhD and his colleagues at KNG
Health Consulting. Rochelle Archuleta,
MBA, of the American Hospital Association
also reviewed and offered her thoughts.
